It’s always excited when your achievement is highly recognized by the influential people. This is especially happen to graduate students, when their research work that are submitted to the journal are accepted. I’m one of the lucky students, who is the major contributor of 2 journal articles, and both of them were accepted recently. Another 3 more co-authored journal articles are still under review. It’s always full of worries when your advisor (or even the editor) is forwarding (or sending) you the email about the decision of your manuscript. You won’t feel good if your work is getting rejected, especially also when the reviewers just tore your paper apart and saying that it’s just a junk work. Of course no one likes negative comments on the work that you’re very confident with. I’m also lucky in the sense that most of my work were only done in simulation, while the field of robotics often require hardware testing.
After several composition of "Itemized Feedback/Comments to the Reviewers", I understand very much on how to deal with reviewers. After reading how the reviewers review our paper, I also gaining more and more knowledge in what should/shoudn’t be in the paper. I also had a couple chances of reviewing a few journal and conference articles, and I understand well how to become a good reviewer. I prefer a constructive reviewer that gives constructive comments, instead of just picky with the typo/error that you’ve made in the paper – and I’m trying to become such a reviewer.
Now, I’m waiting one of the articles to be published next month, and edit the one which was just accepted 2 days ago. Hopefully more will come, and I will be doing more and more quality publishable work. Oh… gosh… it feels really good to have an article published!
双语的,厉害~~~
all the best, my friend!
Lao Zhang, 双语没啥奇怪吧? 这个时代每个人至少要精通2个以上的语言才能赶上时代吧? 不是要"吹", 只是很多时候用不同的语言可以表达不同的自己.
wwll, wish you all the best, too!
We should do our best and reach the best!
